"MyCarbon provided us with a method of monitoring the carbon from auctions in a way that could be easily scaled up, and using data that was accessible. They also were flexible in their approach, and through discussions with them we were able to create a method that used readily accessible data and also reflected the reduced utility in second hand assets as compared to new items. 
As a result of our work with MyCarbon, we have been able to report the carbon avoided to our clients and the wider public on multiple auctions, setting a benchmark for sustainable surplus asset management programs, as well as help our clients to consider more factors on the disposal of used assets beyond the price achieved.
